FROM ART BENCHES TO BENCHES OF THE WORLD 2002-2012

In 2002, the first art street project for painting garden benches was implemented in Moscow on Chistye Prudy, for the first time in Russia. I was the initiator, author, and organizer of the project. After the project developed into a larger-scale campaign “Shop of the world”, the role of the organizer was taken by my brother Andrey Popov. For 10 years, this project has gathered hundreds of artists from all over Russia.
